Jaye M. Jedrychowski, an associate with the Bloomingdale office of Steven H. Mevorah & Associates who practices in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Law, Estate Planning, and Immigration & Naturalization Law. While attending the DePaul University College of Law, Jaye concentrated her focus on family-based legal issues. She worked at a family law firm and excelled at academic research regarding legal issues surrounding homosexual relationships and family planning and structure. Ms. Jedrychowski is a client-oriented litigator, with a personal, hands-on approach to each and every one of her cases.

Jaye was successful in defeating a Petition for Extension of an Order of Protection in a criminal case.  The Order had been in place against our client for 2 years, and his ex-wife was seeking to extend it for another 2 years.  In a contested hearing against the State’s Attorney’s Office, Jaye successfully argued that there was no basis for the extension and the Order of Protection was terminated.  This victory not only prevented the extension of the Order of Protection, but also put Jaye’s client in a stronger position to negotiate a visitation schedule with the opposing party.
